International Shipping & Import Duties/Tariffs Policy

All of our products are handmade and shipped from Ireland.

 

Customers ordering from non-EU countries (including Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and others) should be aware that local import taxes, duties, or tariffs may be applied by their country’s customs authorities upon arrival.

 

Please note that, in these regions, any such taxes or duties are entirely the responsibility of the customer and are not included in our product or shipping prices. These charges are determined and collected by the destination country’s customs authority — not by Erica Hughes Art.

 

However, for customers in the United States, we now prepay all import duties and taxes on your behalf. This means:

 

• U.S. customers will never receive a customs bill,

• No duties or taxes will be charged upon delivery,

• And no additional FedEx or brokerage fees will be requested from you at any stage.

 

For all other non-EU destinations, the following still applies:

 

By completing a purchase on this website, you acknowledge and accept that:

 

• Your order ships from Ireland.

• You are responsible for paying any local import charges applied by your customs authority (except U.S. customers, whose duties/taxes we now cover).

• Erica Hughes Art will not accept returns or issue refunds if a parcel is refused, abandoned, or returned due to unpaid import fees, taxes, or tariffs in regions where these fees are the customer’s responsibility.

 

We always do our best to support our international customers by offering regular special discounts and subsidised shipping rates wherever possible to help offset these additional local charges.
